We stayed six nights at the Copenhagen Plaza in July 2008 in conjunction with a conference held in the city as well as visits with friends. Originally we had booked in another hotel, but decided the location was inconvenient (and it turned out it would have been highly impracticable)--so surfed via the Wonderful Copenhagen site to discover a promotional offer... more

This hotel is smaller than it looks in the photo - I think because of the enormous buildings all around which rather dominate the scene. In many ways its location is ideal - very close to the railway station and just across the road from Tivoli gardens, a short walk from many of the major tourist attractions, and with lots... more

The hotel is in a great location just a stones throw from central station and within easy walk of the city centre. Our room overlooked the Tivoli gardens. The room itself was adequate although tired looking with cupboards that didn't close properly and dingy paintwork. The bathroom was dated but had it been kept scrupiously clean would have been fine... more

The hotel is rather beautiful, and in a good location being close to the station and Tivoli. But I will never stay there again. I think the Hotel used to be part of the Accor/Sofitel chain, but is now owned by an another company, “Profil”. My main bugbear is with the air conditioning/heating units. My stay was for two nights... more

Not worth the money I think. Rooms are ok - not more, service was LOUSY. Had to wait for 60 minutes for a room service order in the middle of the day (and was asked not to use room serivce by front desk staff when checking in eventhough it says in their info they have 24/7 room service). Had to... more

The room was spacious and made you feel at home, great double bed and nice bathroom. Even a small balcony one could step out on. Nice glass elevator built in 1914. Great location. The Library Bar is also great if somewhat expensive. Nice breakfast and nice staff. We will most definately stay at the Plaza again. more

After a nightmare at the Kong Frederik, I moved over here. They were accomodating, gave me a jr. suite and a complimentary drink in the bar. The bar is beautiful! Wood panelled library, dark and great staff. It reminded of the Oak Room at the Plaza in NYC, but a bit cosier. The room was fine (small "but" coming shortly).... more

This is an average hotel, which could use an update to the rooms and halls. Location is excellent for business travelers, as it is right near the train station, and close to the main shopping streets. The hotel is clean, service is positive, nothing special beyond that. If you are looking for a unique hotel experience to complement your visit,... more

This is a "Curate's Egg" review - a hotel that is good in parts. With a shortage of other options, I booked this hotel with some trepidation, not least in view of the other reviews. I can recognise many of the criticisms but overall I did not have too many problems here. The room itself was absolutely fine. It has... more
