Very quiet and truly central location in downtown Malmo. A touch of history but no dust at all. Good taste - comfortable room with a charming view of Malmo rooftops and towers. Super bathroom and wonderful beds. We cannot wait to return. more

Stayed at Mayfair Tunnlen for 2 nights in March 08 Location was super, 200 yards for the central station (but we still managed to get lost), and 50 yards form the shopping street. Location - very good - next to the station and only 20 minutes on a direct train from Copenhagen airport. Located very near the main shopping street and many good restaurants. Rooms - very small room, not particularly well appointed (cables not neat and tidy, small tv, only one bedside table - certainly more 3 star than 4 ... very... more

After a few days in Copenhagen we decided to experience a little of Sweden by going to Malmo which is just across the water, about 15 km away. Linked by road which takes you under and over the water it's as easy as going to the next town. Malmo is a delightful place and was well worth the two days... more

Being the number 1 hotel on Tripadvisor for Malmo certainly infleunced my decision to stay at the Mayfair. Having experienced a 2 night stay I can certainly see why people love the hotel thought to be honest its not for everyone's taste. Great hotel with a splendid location. Tiny room but clean, cosy and quiet. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had in the medevial cellars of the hotel. Last but not least - You pay for a budget hotel but get a first class one. more
