Trying to find a reasonable hotel in Stockholm isn´t easy. The happier we were to find this little gem a bit outside Gamla Stan (Old Town) but only 5 mins on the bus to town. Normally I'd stay somewhere more central for a city break but the rates were cheap and it was supposed to be a 4* hotel. The location actually wasn't too bad even though it was in the suburbs - it's right next to Sickla station (which has trains going to & from Slussen every 20-30 mins) and there's a bus stop... more

Plusses are the superb breakfast, cleanliness, and helpful staff. But NO WAY is it a 4 star hotel. The room was pretty tiny. No kettle. No toothbrush and the other little things in the bathroom. We found the service at this hotel outstanding, and the food in the restaurant delicious (the breakfast buffet is abundant). The entire staff speaks fluent English, as does just about everyone in Stockholm. The hotel is very close to a bus stop that connects with the subway system which is inexpensive and extremely efficient. Top marks! more
