We stayed at this large hotel for two nights together with m family (9 persons). It was a very messy check in, we had booked superior rooms (the only available) but they couldn't provide us these and messed it up. I spoke to the duty manager and she solved the situation and compensate us very well. She was friendly and... more

The hotel is in a very good location, but it should go under renovation, as rooms and bathrooms are not up to scandic standards. Breakfast is very good, even if overcrowded. more

The location is very good, in the middle of everything. Most of the hotelrooms are however dated and the corridors looks in need of a major restoration. I booked a superiour family room. The room was redecorated but not finished..I wonder who got the stupid idea to make a small window between the bathroom and the rest of the room?... more

I stayed with this hotel as part of a tour I did of Scandanavia with Globus Tours. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I found their reception people to be very helpful. They helped me make change when I needed it and they were able to direct me to where their free internet terminals were. The hotel is also... more

This hotel has a really good location, BUT its not up to date. The breakfast is really good when its not crowded as on of ou days, and the property has a swimmingpool. Its really like the most scandic hotels I have lived at, ok, but no more. We booked a superior room with doublebed and bath tub as written... more

Good central location adjacent to a large shopping centre. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the small pool and sauna - very relaxing. Car park a little far from the hotel (shopping centre car park). Restaurant overcrowded at breakfast - had to sit in the bar. more

We stayed here for a couple of nights as a group of students. A nice hotel that is worth visiting just because of it's locaton, especially if you're going shopping. The hotel entrance is more or less the shopping mall entrance. Rooms were simple and small, just OK. They served a lovely breakfast, but it was so crowdy there and... more

I stayed at Europa 1 night for business reasons. Pros: great good location, wooden floor in non-smoking room. Cons: ignorant, very ignorant reception. Gentleman I was dealing with preferred not to open his mouth, almost. Gave slightly nasty feeling. As HH honors memeber I only got my standard super small room with 0.33 liter mineral water bottle, just great. Corridor... more

I booked the Europe on ---.com inspired by a good price. After reading the reviews I thought this would be a safe choise. Our stay was the last weekend before Christmas 2006. In 2006 I have stayed in different hotels for over 90 nights all over Europe and in Africa, and Scanic Europa was the worst of them all. But... more

We booked the Europa going by other reviews on tripadvisor, and were delighted with the location. It is two minutes away from the main station and attached to the Nordic shopping mall. My first impression on the rooms were the doors - big metal ones which would not be out of place in a bank vault!!!! The room itself was... more
