This hotel was advised to me by the organizers of a workshop. Indeed the venue was easy to reach by tram 8. However, for the rest the hotel was incredibly poor. This hotel is a good value for the money in Helsinki, priced between a hostel and a full-service hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean, breakfast is good, the restaurant is quite decent, and the staff is helpful and efficient. This hotel is quite far from downtown Helsinki. The nearest Metro stops are about 15-20 minutes walk. That's fine except in winter. This hotel is in a residential area and apart from the hotel bar there are very few bars and places to eat nearby.
