Stayed in the Helene apartment up steps on Hverfisgata. Close to the main drag and a good supermarket, but quiet and relaxed, lovely furnishings and decor, very stylish and comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Hosts very helpful and accomodating. Really loved our stay and would definitely go back there! more

It is definitely the best place to stay in reykjavik..most of the properties are right on the main street where all the bars / clubs and restaurants are located. makes it very easy to stumble home at 7am after partying all night..and the owners are really nice..unlike all major hotels, this is a family owned business and they value service.... more

Apartments are modern, very spacious, and contain an eclectic mix of art deco furniture. Ours had 2 beds, lounge, dining area, a large bathroom with rain shower, and a separate kitchen area stocked with appliances and crockery. This was a very nice place to stay for our trip to Iceland. The location is terrific, and is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars....anything you can think of.
