My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Miramar and were very disappointed. The only good thing about this hotel is the location right on the harbour. The room we stayed in was very badly in need of refurbishment as was the breakfast area. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Europe, although not the cheapest.... more

This hotel has a great location situated on the Grand Prix Circuit. Well thats the best part off it, the rest I would say is poor. We paid 360 Euros for two nights, the accomodation is very bacic. Lower than a travel Log in the UK, double bed, ward-drob with curtain rather than door, and a very crampted shower until... more

I totally agree with the comments below of a traveller from Australia. I spent a night in Miramar hotel on June the 26th 2006 and only good thing about the hotel is the location, the rest is a big joke. As a matter of fact it is not a hotel more like is a motel or B/B. Stay elsewhere. more

The Mirimar has only two things going for it - a good location and a nice view. But the service and facilities are terrible. The bathroom is very cramped with a strange musty smell, there was no fridge, we were given water on only one night of our stay, the breakfast was very basic and the room so bright that... more

This hotel describes itself as 'next to the casino'. It's not, it's about 10 mins walk from the casino. I spent about an hour trying to find this place, walking up and down the very steep hills around the casino only to see a tucked away sign saying 'Miramar Hotel' way down towards the bottom of the hill. I was... more

This hotel is perfect for those who cannot afford to or choose not to stay in the hotels around the casino. The staff are polite friendly and helpful. Views from the rooms are spectacular. Although undergoing some refurbishment the whole place has a vibrant atmosphere. Lack of lift is the only downside to this hotel more

This is one of the most pleasant hotels I have stayed at in Europe since I have been here. I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly the man who runs the hotel is. I'm not sure if he is the owner or the manager or a staff member, but he was great. He told us how to catch... more

This is a cute hotel with a great roof terrace - probably the best bar in Monte Carlo with wonderful views and reasonably priced food and drink. However some of the staff were extremely rude. We indicated to one waiter on the roof terrace three times, he acknowledged us each time, and then continued what he was previously doing. In... more

Adorable and Euro Chic. The rooms were tiny, the bathrooms were even smaller, but cleverly designed with a fabulous shower. Bed was comfortable. We had a petit balcony and loved the lively street scene and huge yachts in the harbor. Superb location for everything in Monaco and a good resting place for visiting the Riviera, in general. The roof restaurant... more

The Hotel Miramar is on JFK Drive and overlooks the harbour in Monaco. It has only a dozen rooms and we stayed there for the Historic Grand Prix in 2004. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are very small. The hotel was in the process of renovating several bathrooms when we were there. It has a great roof terrace,... more
