If you've ever watched a trashy american film with a 'motel' where everyone gets murdered, picture that place and then multiply how bad it is by about 10. You now have the 'Restover Lodge'. The rooms are dingy, the staff unhelpful, the food appalling and the furniture appears to have been collected from various garage sales. Although maybe the rubbish... more

The lodge is in an isloted spot in the middle of an industrial estate and is surrounded by high metal fences which make the whole place look awful. The room was small, dark and looked very run down. There were ants crawling over the table in into the kettle and although the sheets were clean the rest of the bedding... more

My husband and I stayed at the Restover Lodge for one night whilst visitng a nearby college and found it to be a lot better than we had imagined.
