The initial impression was a warm welcome from David. The walk to Ilfracombe really is under 10 minutes and the uphill back isn't hard. An above average small hotel, with good size comfortable rooms, a decent shower, and is easily located as you enter Ilfracombe from the B399 or A39. The Towers Hotel had a grand entrance , but the room was outdated and very small, with a strange ensuite , no hot water, a very creaky bed and my partner decided it was Fawlty Towers reborn!!!!!! more
