Returned to Hengar Manor for the 2 nd time this year . A1 only one little problem in winter months is the bar and resturants do not open in daytime this is only a little pain otherwise no problem well worth spending time on site Also a ideal base for exploreing Cornwell There are 3 good places to eat on... more

Booked a 5 night break via the Manor website plus a very helpful young lady on the telephone. Then I read the reviews! Oh dear what had I done. I had booked a villa for 5 nights for the vast sum of £214.00 for just myself and the wife. On arrival greated by a very friendly lady who took trouble... more

This is the second time we've stayed at Hengar, the first time in a lodge which was lovely, the second time in a basic caravan which although a little dated was clean and spacious and a lovely setting. The swimming pool area in great, shame you have to pay for the gym. Highly recommended more

i was somewhat apprehensive about visiting Hengar Manor after looking at the reviews on this site. However, Hengar Manor is a very nice peaceful site hidden away in the cornish countryside. We chose to hire a caravan for a week. The only problem i found with the caravan was the net curtains in the van were dirty and looked like... more

We have just returned from our week stay at Hengar. I booked a park bungalow and although it was covered in 'pebble dash' (a huge dislike of mine!!), the inteior was fine. 2 bedrooms both with the heaters turned on for our arrival, so lovely and warm, especially when it was raining constantly. We didn't bother going to the welcome... more

Just returned from our holiday here having booked the lodge directly off the website. Firstly don't be fooled into thinking you are staying on a luxury park. This is a glorified holiday camp complete with welcome meeting, a dressed up furry charcter called 'sporty fox' and 'nighly entertainment' including comedy acts and bingo. We believe this was in complete contrast... more

i booked this direct through the property after seeing it in the hoseasons brochure for a slightly cheaper price but wished i hadn't as i could have been moved like the previous review i have just read - maybe. on arrival you are faced with a car park with the appearance of the buildings and surrounded area that reminded me... more

We booked this holiday in January 2008 for 19th July. We chose a Hengar Manor Lodge (with Hot Tub). My husband and I have enjoyed MANY lodge holidays with hot tubs, and whenever we stay in the UK for a holiday, this is our prefered acommodation. I have NEVER stayed at a lodge park like this one. When we arrived,... more

I cannot believe the other reviews that are posted here! We have regularly stayed at Hengar Manor since 1996 and watched with interest as this park has grown and developed. My children are now teenagers and twenties and refuse to go any where else for our autumn break. The boys have their own golf challenge cup each year and really... more

We have just encountered the most extraordinary experience at this park. I hope it is not usual or common. Our holiday party travelled in two separate cars, the first arrived, booked in, and was shown to the Lodge. They were horrified to find the condition of the Lodge - absolutely filthy. Food over the furniture, grease in the pans/crockery, dangling... more
