We stayed here over New Year 2007/08 as part of a package tour. We were thoroughly disappointed with this hotel in terms of its standards of cleanliness, service and location. the hotel is a 30-40 euro taxi ride form Florence city itself or a 90 minute bus ride! The rooms are very drab and smelly. Ours even came with its... more

I can honestly say it is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The decor was depressingly tacky.I think the last time anyone dusted the chairs in corridors was in 1970 when the place was decorated. The staff did not crack a smile in the 2 days that we were there. There is a bar type disco area next to reception... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of an EF Tour. The hotel is comfortable and the services offered are pretty good - a big restaurant, good breakfasts, internet, a very busy bar and disco, gift shop, etc. The main drawbacks for this hotel were the location - easily 25 minutes drive from Florence - it's really... more

Knowing I am not a particularly picky person, and we were staying just one night at this hotel, I figured we could put up with anything. It did have an elevator, but once I stepped off, I felt like I was staying in the "Overlook Hotel" from the famous book and movie. The hallways were dark and creepy with old... more

This is my worst hotel experience ever! Rude staff, breakfast and dinner are repeating every 2 days, and the food is barely digestible. One bright spot: very friendly and professional cleaning ladies. However, not a reason to stay at this place. It's 20 something kilometers from Florence, last bus to Florence and back is at 11.30 PM, and because the... more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.Really was quite awful.Turned TV on in room and thought it was gonna blow up cause it was so old.Possibly had the world's smallest shower in my room. Word of warning,if you hand in your key for the day when you go out, make sure you keep the ticket they give you when you check... more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a tour of Italy. It was the worst hotel of the tour. It is hard to put into words- it actually became a joke and it a very funny memory. Everything is from approximately 1960 or older. I wish I had some pictures to share as it is not to be... more

This hotel is not very nice. It is very outdated. The rooms need mayor remodeling. The hotel is large, but it needs lots of work. I can't imagine staying there during the summer. It has no air conditioning. I would not give the 3 star rating it has. The breakfast that is included is okay. more
