First I have to say that we live on Maui overlooking the northshore with about a 120 degree view of the Pacific Ocean out our front window so any old ocean view doesn't get a "WOW" but the cliffside setting of the Hotel Marmorata is stunning. This place is literally hung on the cliff overlooking the sea. Our room (401)... more

Our family has vacationed at Maromorata for the past eight years, and each year our experience gets better and better. First of all the location of this hotel is unbelievable. It's right on the sea, and next to a magnificant waterfall. It's also only a five minute drive from the town of Amalfi. The rooms are small but lovely, and... more

The trip we took this past July is my 5th time staying at Marmorata. And there is a very good reason my family and I have been coming back (my family more times than me) - this place feels almost like home, but better, since you don't have any of chores associated with home, but all of the relaxed and... more

We have just enjoyed our 4th holiday at the Marmorata. The hotel just gets better every year as the management are always trying to improve facilities and service. The Camera D`Aflitto family maintain the "family run" atmosphere which is warm and welcoming. The food is just fantastic and representative of the "Costa d`Amalfi" and wider Campania. The winelist is also... more

This year, once again, for the last seven years, we´ve booked our stay at the Marmorata. The continuous choice, year after year, for this Hotel has no mistery and is rather easy to explain. Located in the Amalfi Coast, the Marmorate stays at one of its finest spots. A quite and beautiful bay, with a water cascade near by, which... more

My wife and I have just returned from four nights at the Marmorata, and it was wonderful. A stunning location and great accommodation, with a fantastic sea view, helped us to make the most of this magical part of Italy. I would reiterate what several other reviewers have already pointed out - the hotel isn't in Ravello, nor is it... more

This is a beautiful hotel, far from the ordinary in every sense. Its location right off the cliff makes it an amazing place to stay, along with a very attentive staff and an exquisitely furnished property it is hard to realize you are actually in a Best Western property. Our room was comfortable although we found the beds way to... more

My husband and I spent a couple of nights at the Marmorata. We had a really nice time. The Hotel overlooks the sea and the view is stunning. We found the room very clean, modern and spacious. The staff are extremely helpful and they also have a min-van to take guests to nearly restaurants in the evening. Buses to Amalfi/Salerno... more

We just came back from a four night stay in the marmorata. Probably best if i breack down the pros & cons:- Pros: 1. Friendly staff. 2. Good restaurant at ok price for hotel. 3. Good continental breakfast as pastries are heated up and tasted fresh rather than some continental breakfast that we had where croissants taste stale. 4. Room... more

Our second visit after a great stay in 2005. Excellent hotel with superb food. Meals are served on the terrace outside over looking the sea, the menu is outstanding and cooked to perfection. Staff speak good English and are very pleasant and helpful. All rooms overlook the sea with splendid views of the Amalfi Drive coastal road which lies just... more
