The reviews were correct. The hotel has large, very nice rooms. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help your stay to be something to remember. We needed to leave early the next morning, they called a cab and checked on the train times for us. more

Very helpful and friendly staff. A 15 minute walk into Cambrai, which deserves further exploration. The approach to the hotel is isn't what you'd expect from the photograph, slightly Doncasteresque, but once inside the hotel is fine. more

Booked this hotel on the basis of the other reviews. It is a wonderful place with excellent staff and a good restaurant. The owner/manager suggested local places to visit including a lace museum (much more interesting than it sounds), a Matisse museum and the grave of Wilfred Owen (you would never know it was there).
