Stayed in this hotel at the weekend for a wedding! Reception was held at the hotel! Everything was absolutely lovely! Stayed in a new building attached to the main one and was lovely and clean and comfortable! Had period features, lovely bed, huge shower!! I think the hotel must have been done up since some of the other reviews were... more

I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were all very friendly and the food was excellent. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and we had a fantastic view from our room. I will definitely be booking here again maybe over the Christmas and New year. more

Impressive on arrival and thats where it ended! Our room (No.45) was right at the top and you have a flight of very steep small steps to climb. We were with a couple of pensioners who had great difficulty getting up the second flight of stairs. The whole place needs a shed load of money spent on it. It looks... more

Fawlty Towers-a-like. My friend and I stayed at "Best" Western Leigh Park on 11th August. There was no-one on reception to check us in, no bell to alert someone to our presence, we had to pay on arrival before we had even seen the room, no-one offered to help us with our bags, the corridors smelt of old school cooking,... more

Hotel looks impressive from the outside but once inside it becomes apparent very quickly that some serious money needs to be spent to attain any reasonable standards. The room was basic and very old fashioned, furniture was tatty, bathroom just passable. Cleanish. Understaffed, those that were there tried hard. My dinning room table was about to collapse but had still... more

This hotel is tired and old fashioned and very expensive for what it is .We booked a two night stay over a weekend and because the room was so cold, radiators did not heat up in either the bedroom or bathroom despite assurances from the reception that they would we had no alternative but to cut our stay short and find... more
