I have used the Ibis South Sheffield hotel for business trips for about a year now. In terms of what I need it for it is great. It's clean, tidy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's at a good price. The location is ideal for me - it really is just off Junction 30 of the M1. This... more

Stayed for one night as a stop over for a wedding we were attending. Got the £32 rate from the website, Ibis were having a promotion. Me and my boyfriend decided to have a night out in chesterfield, we discovered that for the price of a taxi it would be better value for us to stay over in a hotel. We chose the Ibis as it is close to town and easy to find when you have a few too many!!!! Anyway, we checked in fine... more

Thank you for your comments. I feel that this has been posted in error about the wrong hotel as we are not in the centre of Chesterfield and are not near a busy road. The area around this hotel is quite rural.

Good basic accommodation, everything you need in the room, tea and coffee making facilities included and top ups given from reception when asked. Bathrooms are shower rooms, not baths, but are big and clean. The only downside I would say is that the walls are a bit thin and you can easily hear any "noisy neighbours", apart from this for... more
