This is a beautifully decorated guesthouse, more plush than most hotels. The rooms with 4 poster beds are particularly nice. Service in general is excellent, and breakfast was delicious. There are lovely walks along the lake that take you back into town. Kenmare itself is a fantastic place with great bars and restaurants. more

I can't say enough about this lovely house! It is completely moderized (yet full of antiques), clean, attractive, quiet and within a short walk of the center of Kenmare. A five minute walk out of Kenmare, Sallyport is a warm and tastefully decorated Inn. Our room was beautiful and spacious. Traditional dark wood furniture with a four poster bed. Sallyport House is one of the nicest B&B´s I´ve been to in Ireland. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. The location is unbeatable! I would highly recommend this B&B. more
