We arrived late and left early but the hospitality of Abbey Court was absolutely perfect. The bed was okay and the covering was a little worn, but that is being nit picky. We checked in early and room was ready. Only drawback for me was the 2nd floor. Otherwise it was great. Brenden was go gracious. My friend wanted tea the first nite. This is a nice B&B with a beautiful view out the backyard. The abbey around the corner is neat to wander through. Stayed here for one night and although the view out back was gorgeous and it was about 15 minutes to walk to town the beds were horrible. THe room was the least attractive and comfortable during our 3 week trip. Kenmare is great and at a hotel on our walk into town had great local music and good food. more

Abbey Court was the highlight of our places to stay in Ireland. I can not say enough good things about our hosts Brendan and Geraldine. Excellent! On every count - setting, charm, convenience, cleanliness, and, most of all ,the friendly, helpful assistance of the wonderful young couple who run the Abbey Court - Brendan and Geraldine. Abbey Court is a great b&b within 15 minutes walking of downtown Kenmare. Kenmare is a great town and Abbey Court gives you close access. I am so glad we chose to stay at Abbey Court. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. The owners, Brendan and Geraldine could not have been any friendlier or done enough for us. Infact, when I couldn't find a laundry facility they offered to wash my clothes. Brendan even hung my clothes out on the clothes line to dry. Talk about... more
