This is an older style hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of public spaces in reception, bar, restaurant. The room had been cleverly refurbished with excellent bed, good carpet, and a good bathroom. We paid A$170, included hot breakfast. more

We stayed here over a long weekend and both my girlfriend and I were very impressed with the service and the atmosphere. We had a free cooked breakfast each morning, the paper was delivered to the door and all the in house movies were free and on demand. The hotel staff were helpful to any request. This hotel was great... more

I was married here in August 2005. We loved this place, we had relatives stay with me in the hotel the night before the wedding, we all had great meals and were treated like royalty. The staff were so helpful and did everything a very anxious bride asked! We will return here for our anniversaries! Also, I work in the... more

I rang this hotel which I might add -it takes them 8 years to answer or the line just drops out- as no-one is answering the phone!!! At a hotel!!I wanted to book a room for my parents on the following Thursday (ringing Saturday before) and my parents require a disabled access room. My credit card details were taken, my... more

This hotel has heaps of character, rooms beautifully appointed, large, clean, top shelf toiletries, large fluffy white towels. An enormous verandah out from the bar makes an ideal place to sit in the afternoon enjoying a cocktail. The front entrance to the hotel has a beautiful garden with splendid roses in full bloom. This hotel also houses the Australian International... more

My family and I travelled to Canberra and had booked an ajoing room consisting of one room with King bed and another room with twin beds. Upon arrival, our reservation could not be found. Fortunately for us, there were other rooms available however, my children had to sleep in a King size bed. The hotel is advertised as a boutique... more

I stayed for just one night in November 2005 and was very pleased with this hotel. It is in a great location, within walking distance to many of the museums and galleries. Small number of bedrooms gives it a nice atmosphere. more

I stayed at the Kurrajong Hotel for two nights for a company meeting on 6 and 7 August 2004. The rooms were well-appointed with some nice touches (welcome chocolates, fresh flowers, etc). The staff were extra helpful and went out of their way to accommodate requests and make sure we were looked after. The hotel is small (28 rooms) and... more

We (my wife, 1-month old son and me) enjoyed our stay at the Hotel very much. The room was small, but very comfortable and nicely furnished and various little details (eg very nice bed-linen, fresh flowers, newspaper, nice toiletries, good breakfast selection etc) made the stay very pleasant. Most of all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and overall... more
