We spent a week at the York apartment hotel and thought the accommodation was exceptional value for money (we were upgraded!). Enormous rooms, with the added benefit of two balconies - if you dared to go out on them - we were on the 26th floor. We were looking for a convienient place to stay in Sydney with free parking. The York filled the bill. It is right off the Harbour Bridge, just a block from the Wynyard metro stop. Good location and pleasant apartment, but terrible street noise. Single paned windows lead to constant traffic roar. Only a very few apartments have double paned windows. Apartments are privately owned, which is why each is different. more
