This is simply the best hostel I've ever stayed at! It's clean, personal, well located, has a friendly staff and a great kitchen with lots of kitchen utensils and complimentary tea/coffee/soup. I spent 8 days at the Wattle House while on vacation in Australia last Fall ( Spring 2007) and the place is just wonderful.This was my second time in Sydney but my very first time ( and last time because the owners are selling the place...?) at the Wattle. I stayed here a few years ago and I believe that the accommodation has changed since then - I stayed in a dorm room (4 beds) but the rooms now are singles, doubles... Anyhow, who cares about the beds once you have somewhere to rest your head! In essence, this is a really great place to stay - location can't... more
