The greeting at the front door was very welcoming and friendly. The room which I might add was on the 4th floor ( a previous review mentioned the 4th floor was disapointing, being as we had nothing to judge it by we were well impressed, so those in the lower rooms should be in for an exceptional treat) was beautifully... more

The Conrad Treasury Hotel was created inside a magnificent sandstone colonial building dating back to Brisbane's earliest days. The former Treasury building is heritage-listed and this has placed considerable burdens on hotel management from the outset. When constructing the hotel, strict guidelines had to be observed about what could and couldn't be done to the building - inside and out... more

From the moment we stepped into the hotel the staff were there to see to all our needs. The rooms were exceptional especially the marble bathrooms. They had the most comfortable beds and it was completely quiet. Room service was prompt and the fact the casino was two floors down with five different restaurants made this stay one of luxury,... more

We required a Brisbane hotel at relatively short notice. Utilising HotelClub, we were surprised to achieve a most excellent rate of AUD$259 per night on a room only basis. This was considerably less than rack rate. Not once could I fault any of the helpful and efficient staff. Even where friendliness was not their forte, they did their job admirably.... more

What a disappointment for a Conrad. The rooms are really dark as there are shutters in front of each window in the rooms and the next building is not far away. Furniture may be historical correct, but is not functional. Feels more like a museum than a hotel. Hardly any services you would expect in a five star hotel. No... more

We booked a room using our hilton honors points. We were issued with a certificate which we presented to the guy at the front desk upon arrival. he said that this wasn't the right certificate. It was the ONLY certificate we got, so he either had to accept it or incur my wrath. Needless to say he asked someone in... more

On Williams St. That's good if you are driving. Coronation becomes North Quay becomes Williams kind of thing. Ann St Freeway exit gets you right on Williams. Bridge to South Bank a block away. The stairs to a ferry station is half a block away. Parking is Valet. You kind of have to do that if you are CBD. Concierge... more

The Conrad is one of those fabulous hotels that does not feel like yet another chain hotel. It is located in the refurbished treasury building and many of the rooms are former offices with large rooms, very high celings, old timber fittings and sandstone balconies. Some of the bathrooms are as big as some hotel rooms I have been in. It... more

I was taken to Treasury as a surprise for my birthday on Sat. 3 November 2007. The minute my partner drove up to the door I felt welcomed by the staff. He had made all the bookings and asked the staff to talk to him directly as it was a surprise. The morning of our stay my partner received a... more

Location – The Conrad is situated in the heart of Brisbane a two minute walk to Queen Street Mall the main shopping/ business area. It’s a short walk across a park to the Casino. It’s approximately 20 minutes from the domestic and international airports. Check in- All staff members were fantastic and showed a high level of efficiency. Our car... more
