This is a nice accomodation, but and it's a big but ,it's right next to a huge building site. We were woken every morning of our recent stay by building noise, this continues all day to around 6.30pm.All baconies overlook the site and it's a real mess. Great location and spacious, well air conditioned units in charming, small building. Teresa and Moss, the managers, were lovely, making sure we had everything we needed, booking tours and generally being very welcoming. Great pool, lovely surroundings and very convenient to walk a couple of blocks to town and beach. Excellent value, would definitely recommend to couples and families. more

Port douglas was stunning, very quaint and wholly catering to tourists. I stayed at MacRossan house and found it charming, clean, econimical and run by friendly staff. The only drawback about the resort was that it attracts couples and I would not recomend for the single traveller. I felt a bit isolated, but this may be due to the season... more
