We really didn't know what to expect with this hotel, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Its an old building at Surfers Paradise, but the renovation job is excellent, and the rooms look great - our room looked almost new. The rooms are also a good size and were clean. Located near the center of Surfers Paradise and only around 10 minutes away from the beach, my experience at Vibe was better than expected. Service was terrible, rooms were really musty smelling and the air conditioning didn't appear to be working properly. Bathrooms weren't cleaned very well. A bad experience for me - would never go back. more
