Quite possibly our worst holiday ever. The resort really needs to be knocked down rather than renovated. Pictures of the place are really misleading, very disappointing. Swimming pools are 70's style and need remodelling. The resort is understaffed, with mostly young, transient travellers being employed. This place is awful! What a shame to have such a beautiful island spoiled with such a horrible resort. We stayed in a beachfront room. This being our second visit to Great Keppel Island we were already aware that paying a little extra for the Hillside Villas was the way to go. Being a bit larger and Air-conditioned made the stay a lot more comfortable for the four of us (2 adults & 2 kids). The food was a lot better than our previous visit... more
