I have stayed in many Hotels in Adelaide. I tend to shop around for the best deal and the nicest place. I have to say that this is the best overall experience in town. This hotel was ok, quite average decor - simple but nice. The room was fairly clean. The staff were friendly, probably not worth the money we paid as we have stayed in nicer places in Adelaide at a much cheaper price. After reading all the positive reviews about this hotel I found it extremely disappointing. Yes the staff were very friendly and personable, but this didn't make up for the incredibly shabby room that I stayed in (# 108 or #109). I was told it was a 'standard room' and paid $179 (which by Adelaide standards should mean something fairly reasonable).... more

I arrived at around 8.30am. I received a very friendly greeting from the reception staff and only needed to wait for around one hour for my room to be available.
