We stayed here for several nights in January 2008 and greatly enjoyed the place. This is not the hotel to go to if you are looking for around the clock room service or all mod cons. Recently returned from a trip to Oz having stayed in The Hatton whilst in Melbourne. Great hotel all-round really. The staff were friendly & helpful. The rooms were large with good facilities. Noted that the website did say something along the lines of "regular guests often request their favourite rooms" and this was repeated by one reviewer here. After staying at the Park Hyatt in Sydney, the Hatton was a nice affordable change! My girlfriend and I stayed there in April for 3 nights as we toured around Australia. It's an older place but it is nice inside and has a cool artsy-indie vibe to it. We definitely recommend this place to friends and will stay here again... more
