Based on other reviewers, it appears that if you stay in a one bedroom apartment with water views its pretty nice. While I'm sure thats the case, I suggest you dont stay in a Studio room facing the carpark. We were very happy we stayed at the Sebel. Great location, roomy rooms, clean, kitchenette was nice, we had no view of the waterfront, but it was pretty nonetheless (the sky needle at night is cool!). From the Sebel, you can walk everywhere- good restaurants nearby, pretty harborside wharf walks. We could not have been happier for the price/value. more

Stayed at these suites Sunday 2nd and Monday 3rd March and had a great time. Really conveniently close to Auckland city. Since it was not over the main weekend nights we were probabaly lucky to avoid the noise complaints that other Tripadvisors have indicated as a recurring problem. If you like Mardi Gras, every night, all night long (until 5 AM) then you'll love the Sebel Suites.
