We have stayed there 2-3 times and it gets better each time! It's now under new management who are upgrading everything. We have found the owners to be very helpful and friendly. Have sampled breakfast and dinner in their new restaurant and was very happy with quality. Carpark is quite tight but we left the car there all weekend and... more

We stayed one night at the Willis Lodge in February 2006 as somewhere to put our heads down on the way from South Island to Napier in the North Island. The hotel takes some finding in the one way system if you are not in the correct lane!! Parking is a bit tight. Inside, the place is characterless. Our room... more

Hotel Willis is conveniently near central Wellington, on bus route to city centre and harbour, but still quiet at night Management are helpful and friendly Rooms are good size, comfortable beds, clean and attractive Breakfast is outstanding at this price. Highly commended. more
