An amazing honeymoonoffer for accomodation stated 'sensational king size twin room' ! in reality it was cramped and the furniture was arranged as though trying to put round blocks in square holes ! would not stay there again more
This accommodation did not comply with the description provided by Quest that it was "New Refurbished", was in poor condition and was not a 4-star hotel as claimed. The hotel was advertised as newly refurbished but the work was not finished. Hallways were a work in progress with torn and stained carpets, and missing architraves in many places. Our apartment... more
Having had a wonderful holiday in beautiful New Zealand this was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. The staff were unhelpful and rarely there, the hallways smelled terrible. The list goes on and on. We had a broken window in our room which my son cut his hand on thinking it was a cobweb. The shower had mold... more
Stayed for 2 nights (thankfully). Main corridors on floors in desperate need of a make over. 2 bed apt was overall a bit grubby. No travel cot in apt (as requested at time of booking). We were not made welcome at all, very impersonal. Rooms very cramped, so-called breakfast included consisted of tiny box of cereals and small carton... more
We stayed here for 2 nights and unlike the other Quest appartments we have stayed in (eg Quest Christchurch), which in the main were great value for money, Quest on the Terrace Wellington was by far the worst. The guy at the front desk was totally unhelpful and unfriendly. When we went down to get the hair dryer for our... more
We stayed at a number of Quest owned apartments throughout our 3 weeks in NZ, including one in Auckland and one in Taupo. This one, on the Terrace in Wellington, was by far the worst of them all (including the non-Quest ones!) The place was very shabby, the rooms were shabby and smelly, the breakfast pack consists of 2 slices... more
