We have stayed in some exceptional bed and breakfasts/small hotels in recent years, but Lambton Heights probably beats them all. Fantastic welcome - car parked for us by the owner, in his own garage. John greeted us, helped us with our bags and showed us around. We enjoyed sharing a glass of wine and some cheese with both John & Cushla and we all shared our travel stories. They explained the location and choice of restuarants via the cable car to town. Cushla helped us plan our day and even recommended a fab pub... more

Lambton Heights is fabulous boutique bed & breakfast located in a historic home in Wellington. We stayed at Lambton Heights for two nights on the 17th and 18th of October and it was wonderful. We stayed at Lambton Heights for the second leg of our honeymoon trip around New Zealand, and John and Cushla were quite the good hosts. John picked us up from the airport and got us settled.
