Great place to stay in wellington!! No steep hills to walk when wanting to going to Te Papa and around the city center which are easy walking distance away!! Bus stop and dairy close by which is a added bonus. Try a hot chocolate at the chocolate shop just down and across the road. mmMmm This Hotel was Very Clean... more

We stayed for a weekend at the Central Stratford Apartment Hotel. I chose them because the reviews were good and also because the reception staff were so helpful when I called to book. We stayed in this new apartment hotel at the end of November- a weekend when Wellington was busy and accomodation at a premium. We were in a studio unit with a small kitchen. This place is absolutely new and very well run. The room was excellent, fantastic bed, beautif bath-room with wasching maschine, very well equiped kitchen with modern tools.(dishwascher, Microwave, even backing oven) all new and hardly used.
