We arrived at the hotel at about 8pm to find reception shut and two keys left for us rather than one. We used the phone by the lock box and got through to someone that was some distance away and couldn't really help. We have stayed here three times so far and I really like it. The buildings are free standing and modern. Each building comprises of two sides, we had a studio unit and the other side was a one bedroom unit. Management seems to allocate only one couple per building if they are not booked out as it makes it very... more

Stayed here for 2 nights midweek with my partner. It was very quiet. We enjoyed using the tennis court and swimming pool and spa bath in the room. Hotel restaurant isn't open Wed and Thu nights so ate at nearby Thai/Japanese restaurant Oishii) at Tempus Two and Harrigan's Pub. Both were quite good. The resort is made up of many... more

Every time we go to the Hunter Valley now to sample to produce we stay at Pokolbin Hill. It is clean and neat. Quiet when you want it to be and only a short walk to the Pub and the shops if you run out of anything - or need to have some beer instead of wine! We have stayed... more
