Just stayed for one night during a driving trip. Stopped at the Tamworth Information booth and was told the Powerhouse had been recently renovated and was a nice property. The facilities were of good quality and the rooms nicely appointed but the new carpeting was a problem because of the very strong chemical smell. Hopefully this will lessen in time.... more
