Older apartment block style accommodation in central Sandy Bay, 5 minutes drive to centre of Hobart, 25 minutes drive to airport. Bed was comfortable but other furnishings "antique" which where hard to sit on. Room had kitchenette and sep bathroom, shower only, which was a little like standing in a fishtank. Expensive and a little dated, the room was spacious and in a quiet location in Sandy Bay. Clean and tidy, I was not disappointed with this place and the management was friendly and accommodating. The good news is that the place is really quiet, staff friedly and it's located within walking distance of Sandy Bay cafes and shops. Battery point is about a 30min walk. Just don't think you'd stay in a lovely cottage type of accomodation. Apartments are in fact in a 70ies style block /behind/ the lovely front and look/feel/smell like you're... more
