I have just come back from a three stay at the U Brany Hotel in Prague. As always the read the reviews on Trip Advisior and I got the impression some of the reviews were perhaps mixed? I visited the hotel with with another couple and can say that it was a very good hotel. We had no problems at... more

Prague is a beautiful city, a must to visit.Booked hotel and transport through Czech website ( www.prague.st ) no hitches at all. Hotel has a great location, easy walking distances to most things you want to see ( may be difficult if very poor mobility as on slight hill , no lift ) , trams easy and accessible. We had... more

So-so hotel experience. The location was excellent, and the hotel was clean, however we felt that we didn't get the value we would look for in a 200 euro and more/per night hotel. The rooms were large, but the furniture extremely old and uncomfortable. The carpet was tired and stained, and the only chairs small and uncomfortable. We were there... more

The main advantage of this hotel is its location - it's on the street that connects the Charles Bridge to the Castle. In addition, the staff are friendly, we found the hotel to be quiet and clean, and it's not very expensive. Also, the rooms are incredibly spacious - we booked a twin room, which turned out to be a... more

stayed at ubrany in june. room was very large but furnishings were so-so and bed not comfortable. breakfast set up was unappealing at best. location was equidistant between charles bridge and castle. overall it was ok but didnt really understand why the "eyewitness guide" recommended and hotel definetely felt overpriced more

This hotel was highly recommended by worldwide famous "Eyewitness Guide. Top 10" book. We booked 2 bedroom suite facing the street; bathroom and toilets both in excellent condition, but: there were few huge stains on the carpet right in the middle of the living room, furniture was old, and - believe it or not -bed covers had holes in them,... more

Stayed at the U Brany for 3 nights in a huge 2 bedroom apartment for the 4 of us which cost EUR 130 through Wotif. Great location, quite area next to the Royal Castle and about a pleasant 15 minute walk to the main square. The breakfast was basic. more

Hotel staff couldn't be more helpful We had a suite for 8 days - 2 bedrooms/living room and bath Breakfast was a little boring after day 2 of the same things Staff in resturant downstairs very helpful but at times music from bar was quite loud - the first night there was a wedding party celebrating into the wee hours... more

I booked 6 rooms at the U Brany and we were all very pleased with the price and hotel, some of the rooms were enormous apartment-sized rooms. It is situated on a lovely cobbled street which leads up to the castle on a slight incline and very close to the Charles Bridge (10 minute slow stroll). The street was bustling... more

Booked this hotel after reading tripadvisor reviews. Hotel is about half way up the hill to the castle - wouldn't recommend this if you have any mobility problems, but otherwise fine. Good access to rest of the city via trams at the bottom of the hill and a short walk to Charles Bridge. I can't compare this hotel to others... more
