Hotel is in a great Location to all Tourist Spots. The staff at Reception Were very very Friendly and more than helpful. Room was very clean and tea making facilities were great to have in the room, Breakfast was Basic but nice. My only problems were there is no lift and the spiral stairs were both very dangerous to walk... more

Just 3 minutes from the Old Town Square and Wencelaslas Square. The Hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is quaint and has a lot of character as you would expect in the Old Town. The room we had was spacious with a large bedroom, large shower cubicle with toilet, washbasin and hairdrier, etc. There... more

We stayed at the Hotel by default after a mix up with our original accomadation. We stayed over the New Year 06/07 and experienced several problems. Firstly a plus the Hotel is only a very short walk from the Old Town Square. The down side of this is that it is on a main pedestrian walk way and concequently it... more

The Golden Age is more like a pension or bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. The location was very central in the old city. The only problem with the location is that drunks on the street at night are very loud. However, I would assume that would be a problem anywhere in the city. I didn't notice any bars... more

Spent 3 nights in the Golden Age hotel Prague and NEVER AGAIN. Having booked 3 months prior to our trip we arrived to find that despite requesting a 2 bedroom apartment our party of 2 were allocated a 1 bedroom whilst a fellow traveller on his own was allocated the 2 bedrooms and the manager refused to change the arrangements!... more

We stayed here in late November. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport for about $25 total for the 2 of us and that was nice. Even though our plane was 1 1/2 hours late, the driver was there- didn't speak any English but didn't matter much. The hotel is very basic. As the other... more

We spent ages looking for a good hotel over the Christmas Period and I thought we found it ..... wrong. I was very disappointed with this hotel. When we booked it they told us that the only rooms available were the expensive ones which we agreed to pay as it had a kitchen but when we got there we only... more

We stayed in the 'junior suite', which basically just meant 'big room with little vestibule separating it from the shower room'. There was a lot of noise from the market early in the morning, but it was a lot less noisy if you closed the window at night. The hotel was clean and the staff were quite helpful. We felt... more

Hotel looked very attractive-did not live up to it. Suite 301 had nice furniture but was a bit sparse. Also twice had problem with blocked bathroom sink due to poor plumbing. The "rich breakfast" in the brochure didn't materialise (coldmeat, cheese-not much choice) dry bread for the very slow toaster and NO SERVICE AT BREAKFAST. You have to do all... more

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was extremely helpful and recommended some local restaurants and even made reservations for us for dinner. The room was good size with a large and very clean tiled bathroom. The one minor drawback was that we had a car and there was no onsight parking facilities... more
