We stayed in the Domina City for three nights, arriving off the boat from Helsinki before 12 o'clock, we were given a room right away. That was very welcome, as my mother needed to lie down a bit. Tallinn is no city that thinks of the elderly, there are lots of high steps and no handrails. But the Domina City... more

We stayed at the Domina City for 3 nights in July 2008. The hotel has an excellent position on the edge of the Old Town. It looks to have been converted into a hotel several years ago to a high standard. Our bedroom on the 1st floor was larger than usual. The staff were helpful. A few niggles: Opposite the... more

This hotel definitely had it pros and cons. The major pro was the location! Right in the heart of Old Town. Great! Made it easy for my travelling companions to stumble home in the early hours after visiting some of the many area clubs. Breakfast was really good. The main reception areas are nice, staff speaks good English. Cons: water... more

I stayed there for two nights back in June of 2007. The hotel itself is very nice and modern. The room was small, and if you wanted to use the computer (I left my laptop at home) the fee was a little excessive. The bathrooms were very nice, I prefer the shower over a tub, and the place was clean.... more

I really like this hotel, so I am writing a second review of it - I stayed there twice in September, including a longer stay; my last review was from April 2006, and I hope this is enough of a distance. The hotel celebrated its 7th anniversary when I was there (all guestst received a big chocolate bar in celebration),... more

Just stayed in this hotel (sept 2007). It is true location is good but then rooms are very noisy, no possibility to open windows due to noise outside (street are full of people making noise, partying), and then no air conditioning in the rooms. Rooms also quite small. It is then not that easy to sleep and if you have... more

Liked this hotel. Genuine three stars. Room big enough, no air con but hey, open the window. TV with fair number of channels, internet in room (extra price), nice bathroom, HUGE breakfast with local and international produce, fresh salad, bacon and scrambled eggs, cheese, fish, fresh bread, croissants, cheesecake, coffee, tea, juices, shall I go on? So why the "but..."?... more

Had booked (as had a mate) thru Expedia in January, and paid in advance. Wanted to be in the Old Town, in nice boutique style hotel. When got there we were told that because they had had a large group booking, we were in the Meriton Grand instead. We protested but they said there was nothing we could do as... more

Booked in January direct with hotel. Arrived on Thursday with my friend we were told that our rooms had been given to group booking and there was nothing we could do about it. They said, "You've paid already so what are you going to do about it we have your money." Asked why rooms given to this group - told... more
