I stayed with my boyfriend in Rick and Digas lovely, big and homey house in may, and we have never been so pleased with our choice of accomodation before. You are always a little wary about going into other people's houses, but this was a genuine pleasure. The house is large and spacious, as was the room. We had a lovely stay here with 'Granny' (or so our taxi driver called her!) as Diga and Ric were away. We stayed at Homestay in February of 2008. We enjoyed the accommdations; huge room, warm floors, laundry and internet. The delicious breakfasts were huge, even without pancakes (the third course, or fourth, if you have cereal). Everything was very clean and we had four cats to keep us company. Just returned from a trip around the Baltics and although all the accommodation was much better than we expected, Homestay really stood out for the hospitality of Ric & Diga and the wonderful house. We found the 20-30 minute tram journey into central Riga to be easy and cheap and it was good to be in such a peaceful location... more

would definitely recommend homestay; rick and diga are both very welcoming and great hosts, the house is lovely and the location, though not central, is also very good. it's more like staying with friends than a bed & breakfast, in many ways. more

Diga and Ric certainly make you welcome in their very spacious house. My room was supurb with coffee and tea making facilities and breakfast filled you up for the day ahead ! Will def go back ! more
