Slum quality hotel. Needs cleaning & renovating. Heat and internet service erratic/. I arrived during a snow storm -- the steps were very icy and dangerous -- nobody had come out to put down sand or salt. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves at the District. The friendly staff, close proximity to the Mall, restaurants and bars as well as the clean and comfortable rooms all make the District an excellent place to stay. more

My stay at the District Hotel was wonderfully spent. The staff was friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assist me. The morning front desk clerk is very kind. It is a reasonable price for a state of the art hotel that's close to every amenity in Washington DC. more
