Avoid rooms that end with 02 because the hotel's kitchen exhaust is just outside and kicks in about 5am. Otherwise, great front desk staff, decent breakfast (dinner is a bit cafeteria though), excellent location. Lots of funny smells - seems the hotel is sealed tight! This property is located in a wonderful location with lots to do and plenty of shops and restaurants. It's a newer urban 10-story Residence Inn, however it's beginning to show it's age. We stayed at the Dupont Circle Residence Inn in Feb. 2007. Stayed for 4 nights. This hotel is supposed to be ALL NON- SMOKING, but it apparantly does not enforce the rule.
