We stayed here for four nights during cherry blossom time. This is a great family hotel with free breakfast and a pool. It is spotless and has the most comfy beds ever. The free breakfast was very good with tea and coffee being available all day every day . It is in a great location and is close to the... more

Our room was very comfortable - larger than we expected, with cushions on the couch that could be moved to the floor for sitting and playing. Comfortable sleeping - except for pillows, which were very soft. We asked for hard pillows, and there were none, so we actually bought a couple of cheap hard foam pillows at the nearby bed,... more

We all loved the hotel. Clean, nice breakfast, good people, internet access, near centre and generally very good taste. Too bad we only stayed there for one night. The only black spot is the parking which was not for free and we couldn't see were the car was. So we were a bit insecure. I definetely recommend it. more

This Hampton Inn was a fabulous experience. The kids loved swimming. The breakfast was pretty good. I only wish there were more healthy whole grain options. Our room was spacious enough for the four of us. Everything was exceptionally clean. We will definitely be back! more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn DC Convention Center with my eleven-year-old grandson in March when I took him to Washington for his spring break. It was a convenient location with a good rate for DC. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast area were friendly, helpful, and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable and I felt... more

We had a wonderful time at the Hampton Inn, Washington D.C., during spring break 2008. The beds were comfy. The rooms were clean. The breakfasts had a lot of choices. I am really picky and this room was great. I would totaly recommend the facility. Some items to consider: the room doors slammed shut and we were wakened at 7... more

I stayed here with 5 buddies to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play the Washington Capitals. The location was perfect if you are attending a sporting event at the Verizon Center. It was only a 2 block walk to the gates. As usual, the service and room quality were excellent at the Hampton Inns. I would highly recommend the 29.99... more

This Hampton Inn property is generally well run and provides the services one would expect. The rooms are well appointed following the current Hampton Inn style template, and the staff is generally well trained. The breakfast staff is particularly attentive. Its location is a few blocks north of Chinatown/Gallery Place and Verizon Center, and a few blocks east of the... more

I accompanied my husband to Washington DC on a business trip. We booked the Hampton Inn Convention Center because it was within walking distance to the office my husband’s meeting was held in and because we are never disappointed with Hampton Inns. This one was no exception. We were greeted on the sidewalk and helped inside with our luggage. The... more

Our family stayed here for one night on Jan.12, 2008. We had traveled to DC on Amtrak and walked from Union Station to the hotel on a nice sunny day. But if it were a bad weather day we could have easily used the metro. We were early so our room wasn't ready, but the gentlemen at the front desk... more
