My boyfriend and I spent three nights at this hotel in April. It is a very conveniently located hotel, literally a block from Union Station and The Capitol. It is a very charming, Irish themed hotel with a pub and outdoor patio area for dining. The staff at the front desk was always ready to help us if we had a... more

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your accommodations and were pleased with the service we provided. We understand your concern about the noise. Because we are located near several landmarks in the city, we are in a busy area. Some of the rooms face street traffic while others do not. Our quieter rooms can...

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during the Cherry Blossom Festival. It's conveniently located just a block from Union Station which is essential for exploring the city. The staff was incredibly helpful. They even helped avoid disaster when ticketmaster wasn't able to print our tickets to an event. Every room has great wireless and fast internet connections. But... more

We got a great rate through Travelocity, and we were not sure of what to expect. It turned out to be a very nice stay. Three nights during Easter week. Staff was very polite. Great location. The room was small, but cozy and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. more

This hotel is excellent. The staff were courteous and friendly. The Irish theme is very nice. The rooms are lovely, the beds are soft and comfortable with beautiful quality linen. Great Internet access, which is essential these days. Located within walking distance of Union Station. Great view of Capitol Hill. On a return visit I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The... more

I stayed at the Phoenix Park during a business meeting as the office was nearby. The Irish theme is nice, the rooms were very comfortable (the beds especially soft), and the staff is good (not great in my opinion.) The evening turn down is a nice touch. The hotel is close to Union Station, and the area is fine during... more

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed our beds, evening turndown and our restaurant and pub. We are quite surprised regarding your safety concern for our area. We have not received any comments in the past with this particular concern. For a popular neighborhood in a large city, it is considered quite safe. If you care to...

This hotel is in a great location across from the Smithsonian Postal Museum, one block from Union Station (Metro, Amtrak and dining / shopping), an easy walk to Capitol Hill destinations. The room was smallish, clean, well maintained, and included a large flat screen TV. The king size bed was very comfortable and featured upscale linens and pillows. The huge... more

Disabled room very small and double bed far too high for such a room(disabled)the stool was a nice idea but when you have difficulty moving because you have mobility problems then a step is a liability! It was extremely difficult to get my husband into bed because of the unusual height of the bed- I am long-legged and I could... more

My husband and I stayed at the Phoenix Park and I was not impressed overall. We were given a room that was very small. It had a king sized bed and between this and the large desk there was no room to move about in the room, in fact you couldn't pull the chair out to sit at the desk... more
