My husband and I stayed at this hotel (2 room - one for kids) for the weekend. It was a decent enough hotel with modern amenities. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and it was average in size. Bathroom counter was a bit small. Walk in shower with no tub was great! (I guess it depends on your preference). The... more

My wife and I were going to DC to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I wanted a nice hotel within walking distance to Georgetown and other sites and this hotel seemed perfect. I read the reviews on this site prior to booking and felt good doing so. However, I could not have been more disappointed in this property. We checked... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of June for a weekend and we found the hotel to be OK. We booked through Priceline and I think it was about 100 dollars per night. We found a parking spot on the street in front of the hotel so we did not pay the 32 dollars a day valet... more

I was with a group that stayed at the Renaissance M Street Hotel at the end of June. The hotel was completely booked. I was in a king room on the 9th floor. Friends were in a double room on the 7th floor. My room on the 9th floor was perfect. Large entry hall, super comfy king bed, desk, LCD... more

Stayed on a Saturday night and got a good rate that included complimentary valet parking. Staff very friendly and responsive. Room was on the smallish side but very comfortable and clean. Bed was VERY comfortable. Close (three blocks) to the DC Metro station at GWU. more

This hotel has nothing to recommend it. The location is lousy, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are smaller than small. We were given a room that was the smallest room that we have ever had in a hotel. The bathroom had a single sink and no counter space. And, the room had not been cleaned very well. We... more

We didn't reserve far enough in advance to use our rewards points, so we booked 2 nights through Priceline at $66 per night. The hotel was difficult to find by car. Parking per night was expensive ($32 per night). The front desk upgraded us to a room with 2 double beds on the Concierge floor, which entitles a guest to... more

Convenient to Dupont Circle Metro or Faragat North or West Stations. Hotel is new so room was beautiful - all new inside. Very quiet property except for a few late night Party animals (graduation weekend) that made a bit of noise in the hall. Also nice to have access to nearby Marriott's pool etc although we didn't utilize those facilities.... more

This hotel has a beautiful lobby and impeccable service from staff, but the rooms are impossibly small! There's a desk on a swing arm that you have to move to get into the closet. No place to sit and watch television except on the bed. It's impossible to apply makeup with kneeling on the toilet to get close to the... more

We were not disappointed in our stay at the Renaissance M Street. We arrived hot, tired and very jetlagged. As I was checking in, the desk staff noticed my tiredness and offered me a chilled bottle of water to pick up my spirits. Very much appreciated. My husband is VERY sensitive to noise and despite being near the busy crossroads... more
