We traveled all over Belize in November 2007. This hotel was our favorite. We spent one night in a double occupancy cottage. The owners had apparently recently brought back new furnishings and decorations from BALI -- but it was a beautifully, elegantly appointed cottage w/ outdoor jungle shower. Everything was in perfect/ working condition. The room was reasonably spacious, the... more

I was a recent guest at Chaa Creek and was amazed by the beauty of the property, accomodations and most importantly the staff! The property definitely rates as one of the best not only in Belize, but in all of Central America! We were greeted by the front desk and offered 2 beautiful rooms (the one had a romantic outdoor... more

We spent four days here before continuing onto Caye Chapel (check out my review for that too!). Chaa Creek is a beautiful little gem in Belize. Accomodations are beautiful, each one is different and unique. Decorations are amazing in the room and through out the resort - lots of natural woods. There is NO air conditioning, so it does get... more

Chaa Creek has a rich history, having started decades ago as a humble place where you could rest your head in return for helping out in the garden. The owners used to canoe their vegetables downriver to San Ignacio to sell them at the market. But today, it's pure rustic elegance and luxury in the jungle. The thatched roof casitas... more

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Chaa Creek in July of this year. It was the most fantastic vacation of our lives. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The staff is the most attentive I have ever experienced. For those contemplating a trip to Chaa there are a few things you must know. First, you ARE in... more

My husband and I spent the first part of our honeymoon at Chaa Creek, and we are counting down the days until a big anniversary so we can return. It has been one year, and we still talk about it every day. The grounds are stunning and the air smells so good- fresh, clean, earthy-- everything that lets you know... more

Chaa Creek in Belize was a fantastic trip. We spent 5 full days there. We canoed, rode horses, and did hikes with the guides there. We stayed in their Orchard Villa. It was beautiful. The food was incredible, the people were awesome. They were so friendly. We did a couple of tours outside of the lodge as well. Actun Tunichil... more
