Quite safe as it only costs £1 to get to the medina in a cab. Tried to put us in basement, but we insisted that we wanted to be upstairs. They moved us. Nice pool but load music there. Arrived back from a very dissapointing 5 day, there is virtually NOTHING to do in Fez except shop in the tacky souk, eat and drink and it is sadly not geared up for tourism at all.
