I stayed at this riad for two nights in May of 2008 as part of an organized tour. The stay at the riad was delightful; it definitely felt authentic, glamourous, and exotic. The room itself was a bit small (rooms 11-19 are smaller rooms). That said, the room was clean, had functional air conditioning, and a flat screen TV that... more

We arrived directly from Casablanca, after having just flown in. The Riad, was candlelit, with a gorgeous old tiled courtyard, and huge gold and red, couches with bolsters and pillows, and tables in which to eat or drink. There were also other rooms, where you could lounge. There was a small pool in the back that we did not use.... more

A most enjoyable stay where we were made very welcome. This was our first experience of Moroccan hospitality and we were not disappointed. The ambiance, service and food were first class. The Riad is in an excellent location for exploring the old Medina in Fes. We shall be back. more

This Riad is beautifully appointed with attentive staff. Breakfast was among the best we had and dinner was good. We can't comment on the price of dinner as it was included in our 'tour'. Make sure to use the lock box provided in the room. We didn't and our daughter's IPod was stolen. more

The riad is by definition an old residence with the rooms converted into bedrooms for guests. The interior was just gorgeous with comfortable couches to eat and drink at. We ate... more

Our experience at the Riad El Yacoutz caused us to create a new entry in our family travel lexicon - "Yacoutz = Scam". We arrived at the hotel very late in the evening (about 10:30 local time). The manager of the Riad informed us that "dinner had been prepared (note - past tense) for us and would be served in... more

Stayed here in a triple room for 2 nights and the Riad was beautifully decorated. Rooms were luxurious and the service was attentive and warm. Location was ok but cannot say too much about this in terms of surroundings as we had a driver to take us around. Breakfast was great and filling enough to get you through to lunch.... more
