After a very unplesant overnight stay at another riad, we scrambled to find a new place to stay for our last night in Marrakesh. We opened our Lonely Planet and started making calls and came across Riad Massarah with no prior knowledge of the riad. Michael was at the doorstep of our old riad with a man with a luggage... more

My partner and I have recently returned from a 5-day stay in this absolutely stunning Riad. The location, food, service and rooms were certainly amongst the very best we have ever experienced! The Basics: The Riad is owned and operated by Michael and Michel who are very warm and welcoming hosts. The Riad has 5 guest rooms, individually decorated with... more

Have just returned from a four day break to Marrakech. Riad Al Massarah was a beautiful place to stay. We were really looked after in every way. The food was great, dinner and breakfast were delicious and in amazing settings. Also, the general attention to detail was faultless. It is a little way away from the center which we liked,... more

Really lovely riad that felt luxurious yet still homely and very relaxed. Although the owners Michel and Michael were away for most of the time we were staying there, on there return they chatted to us and made sure our stay had been enjoyable and were overall very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to friends. Delicious breakfasts... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and the hospitality shown by Michael and Michel was unbeatable. They gave excellent advice about how much to pay for things, where to go for food and drinks and how to navigate the streets. The Riad itself was like a home from home. All the rooms were furnished beautifully and with all amenities. The... more

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday staying in the Riad al Messarah. The house is beautifully decorated with an abundance of fresh flowers. In the evening the light from the candles made it seem even more magical. The whole place had such an air of calm and tranquility, as soon as you walk through the doors the manic... more

My friend and I stayed here for four days and the experience was just lovely. Michael and Michel were very hospitable, I would definitely come back to Marrakech just to stay here. Michel, I miss your bloody mary cocktail. :) Princess more

Looking for a riad in Marrakech is not easy with so many wonderful places to choose from. However, this was one of the most wonderful stays we've ever had...this says a lot as we've traveled much of the world. Michael and Michel are amazing, caring, sincere, and extremely helpful. You couldn't ask for better hosts. The riad is simply beautiful... more

First of all a million thanks to Michael and Michel for making my Birthday break a memorable occasion. We arrived for a 3 night break and was met by Michael in a somewhat strange location outside the local mosque which was buzzing with locals.Michael led us straight to the Riad which was down some winding alleys. As he opened the door... more

We had a fantastic break in Marrakech based at Riad Massarah. We loved the hustle, the colour and the experience of the souks, the majesty of the Atlas mountains and the amazing Majorelle Garden but it was getting back to the calm of the Riad that made it a holiday. Owners, Michael and Michel were incredibly helpful, advising on places... more
