The hotel was overall very good. A couple of negative points was the room was quite musty smelling and a good air out/washing the curtains would have made the smell more pleasant. We had to request to get the hot water turned on which isnt a huge deal as it took about 5-10 minutes for this to come through. The... more

I stayed at the hotel in Nov-Dec of 2003, before and after numerous trekking adventures throughout Nepal. It was nice to have a hot shower and clean room to come back to. The food in the restaurant is great, especially the tandoor chicken! The location is not directly in the Thamil (tourist) district but is literally a 5 minute walk... more

We stayed in the Harati Hotel in October 2000. The hotel was good and rooms were nice. But your best of if you have a room at the backside of the hotel with a view of the beautiful garden! The front (street)side can be rather noisy. more
