Hotel Tradition is a not in the centre of Thamel but everything is within walking distance or rickshaw. The rooms are excellent, with ensuite bathrooms and some with air conditioning or at least a fan. The food on the 8th (top) floor restaurant, with fantastic views overlooking KTM valley is great and there's a varied choice of Nepalese and Tibetan... more
