Very impressed with the whole set up from check in to departure. Excellent quality of service, lovely rooms and splendid facilities. The breakfast restaurant gives you a great start to the day and is right next to the pier for your courtesy shuttle boat to the train station for access to any part of Bangkok you wish to visit. IF there... more

I stayed at the Bangkok Marriott Resort in Jan 08 and Feb 07. While I thought of the hotel as a peaceful heaven in busy BKK the first time around, the experience was spoilt the second time around. Being under new management, the focus seemed to have shifted to revenue generation. In 3 days there were 2 weddings, one large... more

This was my fourth stay at the Marriott Resort and it is still as fabulous as the first time. You can't fault the accommodation, staff, food, pool, spa etc. I have stayed at the Shangri-la and Royal Orchid Sheraton by the river and city hotels in Bangkok but this place is the best. more

This hotel is a bit off the main drag but provides a shuttle boat service to the Skytrain station which gives easy access to the main areas of Bangkok. It's setting on the river is superb and the overall standard of the hotel is very good. We were on a bed & breakfast deal (breakfast was very good) and the... more

On arriving at the Marriott we were welcomed at the check in and although it was drawn out it was still ok with the customary cold towell and cold tea. We were given a hardsell on upgrading to another room and when one level was rejected they would try to upsell the next one .It was like dealing at the... more

FANTASTIC- true 5star treatment from the moment the main entrance door is opened for you. Surrowndings are sumptous, the staff superb - realy they can not do enough for you. about a 45min journey from the airport, but thats keeps the location away from the noise and pollution. We cant say enough about what an excellent hotel this is; Highly... more

Can only echo what so many other reviews have said - the best thing about this hotel is that you are away from the hubub of Bangkok and it has a more 'resort' leisure feel than many of the more anonymous corporate focused hotels in the city. The boat ride across the river to get to the sky train station... more

Stayed here for 4 nights for a business meeting being held at the hotel. It took about 45 min. (and about 400-450 THB by taxi; if you arrange one of the hotel cars (usually a Mercedes Benz C-class) to pick you up that is 2,100 THB) to get from the airport to the hotel, which is located along the main... more

The Marriot resort is a very nice play to spent a couple of days in the city of Bangkok. A beautifull swiming pool in a tropical garden facing the river is peacefull after a journey in a very busy city. All the organisation of our trip was directly made from the hotel with an attractive price/quality. The room with view... more
